With a background in creative writing, her love for storytelling spans from novels and poetry to musicals, movies, and video games. With a background in teaching, writing, and publishing, Colleen has built a career around helping writers shape their words into their strongest form. When she's not writing or reading, Colleen enjoys baking, singing, and exploring the strange, amazing city she lives in. She specializes in guiding authors through nurturing their voice, refining structure, and strengthening narrative arcs while always honoring the heart of the story. Her own experience gives her unique insight into the creative process, making her both an advocate for her writers and a fierce champion of their work.

Colleen Kinneary understands the business behind books. She is the owner and operator of The Neverending Story. Established in 2024, it is a traditional brick and mortar bookstore based in the heart of Babylon Village, on Long Island, New York. The shop offers a rotating selection of best-sellers, new and used fiction and literature as well as non-fiction. The shop also features work by local artists and curated vintage objects. Prior to opening her shop, Colleen spent twenty years working with museum publishing departments and establishing herself as a book buyer for the art world.

Hunter has spent her professional life learning how to make details sing and Microsoft Word bend to her will. Her editorial experience includes serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Volume 47 of Hofstra Law Review, managing documents with mind-numbingly large page counts at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and being the creative force behind The Dewy Blog and The Dewyletter. In her so-called “free time,” she loves to act and perform with roles including Alastor and Charlie in Hazbin on Broadway, Kate C. Gump in Nonya, Bietz & Waxxe LLP, and Draco Rex in Tri-Scare-Atops. She also hosts monthly tarot readings and is The Radio Demon in Residence at RPM Underground.
