We didn’t think we would have to spell this out, but here goes.

You shouldn’t use AI in creating your book. We aren’t going to argue that AI usage is a moral failing (though some have reasonably taken that position), but it’s just sloppy writing regardless. The whole point of writing a book that’s yours is that IT’S YOURS. Outsourcing your writing is already an iffy practice, much less to something that has a track record for hallucinating reality and “yes-and-ing” their prompters. Taking shortcuts in writing is rarely the path to your best work and we firmly believe it has no business ever holding the pen of a creative work.

Do you accept works that have utilized AI?

No. Go find somewhere else. We have no interest in publishing generated works.

Now, if you’ve utilized AI in other ways (like getting critiques of your work) that may be different. But if AI has generated a single word in the manuscript, the answer is no.

Do we use AI?

Hell no. Every edit we do, every cover we design, and every word we craft is done free of AI. We think it’s better that way.
